Dear friends,

For the past year we have been blessed with a friend, Quietus, who has provided us our honor server. Some of you may know him well and have played with him in game. Those who know him are very grateful for his service to the clan. Though servers are not cheap these days, Quietus took it upon himself to step in and provide for a clan and help them get on their feet. He has done a wonderful job at that.

Now as our first birthday has come and gone, its is time to honor Quietus for his faithful service. We will now be paying him through his company, LowPingGameServers.com, for the server. We are at the point in the clan to were we can provide for ourselves.

The total amount for the server each month is $49.80. Our monthly goal for donations is now set at that value. Though it is not required to donate, we still encourage our members to do so. Remember donations do not affect you as member what so ever. Meaning you are still a member of this clan whether you donated or not.

I agree with BlueShark, This clan has expenses and anyone who has enjoyed our server knows the quality of service that Quietus and his company LowPingGameServers.com provides. Not only has Quietus provided financially for the clan, he has also had much input into the management of the clan. He has helped us on numerous occasions with PB Scripts to ensure a level playing field. I have to say that I also enjoy our server and thank Quietus for his contributions and hard work.

Not everyone in the clan has a job and not everyone who has a job is blessed with an income that allows them to contribute. I would ask that everyone please by mindful that there are expenses associated with running this organization. The administrative council donates their time and energy managing this team. If we paid an employee to do our functions we would be broke quickly.

Possible Recurring costs: $75.49 / Month not including bandwidth or Admin salary

*note 1: currently LT2-Swaff is kind enough to host our TS server on a computer he generously donated to the clan. The Admin council has been talking about replacing the existing TS application and eithor upgrading to TS3 or engaging Quietus' company to host it for us.
*note 2: BlueShark has been very generous to host the CEF clan website and some other websites.
*note 3: The non-honor server is currently hosted on the same machine as the TS server. When both are running then there is noticeable lag on the TS server.
*note 4: The average consultant may make $100/hr. Given that there are those who have worked since the beginning they would of been paid $104,000 given 1/2 time (20 hours) per week for a year.

I am not writing this to guilt people to give, especially if they do not have the means to. Luke 21:1-4. I want everyone to be mindful that we have expenses and any contribution is greatly appreciated.
